Let your child unleash their creativity and learn practical sewing skills in our 2-hour hands-on
workshop. They’ll make their very own lined (recycled) fabric school book bag with a Velcro
fastening — perfect for library books and school work.

Please only register for your child as we have a maximum of 8 spots for this workshop due to sewing machine numbers – if you wish to attend with your child please let us know in the comment section of the registration form :)
Suitable for children 7+
Learning Outcomes:
● Learn to use a sewing machine safely
● Have a basic overview of fabrics – the difference between natural and synthetic.
● Sew straight seams and assemble a lined bag
● Practice following simple instructions
● Take home a finished, functional project.
