Mā te rongo, ka mōhio;
Mā te mōhio, ka mārama;
Mā te mārama, ka mātau;
Mā te mātau, ka ora.
From listening comes knowledge;
From knowledge comes understanding;
From understanding comes wisdom;
From wisdom comes well-being.

Led by experienced Te Reo Māori facilitator Keri Elvin.
No Taranaki, no Ngāruahine ōku tūpuna.
Ko Keri Elvin tōku ingoa.
I hoki mai au ki te kainga whānau ki Taranaki ki te tonga ia hararei kura.
He pouako ahau mō ngā pakihi e pīrangi ana i te whakangungu ahurea.
Kei te whakaako au i tēnei wānanga ipurangi, ko te Korokoro Tūī mō ngā ākonga ki te kōeke tuarua.
I have had the privilege of facilitating Te Reo Māori and tikanga Māori programmes for over 20 years in school, community and museum education spaces. My approach to facilitation has evolved into thematic programmes integrating tikanga, te ao Māori and te reo Māori. It brings me great joy watching learners grow in their understanding, blossom in confidence and be challenged in their thinking. I am a strong believer in normalising te reo Māori and building communities of support for learners to move forward on their haerenga (journey).
